Storage Scholars
A campus-aware website system for students, parents and university partners
I restructured the service story, redesigned the visual system and created a scalable Webflow experience that helps students find their school, understand the process, estimate the cost and sign up.

The service was simple. The experience was not.
The old website contained useful information, but the message hierarchy was weak, page patterns changed without a clear system, and the illustration language did not feel distinctive to the brand. I reorganized the journey around the questions students actually ask, then created a consistent visual and component system around those decisions.
Four redesign decisions, shown side by side.
This is the design evidence. Each comparison isolates one problem in the earlier experience and the specific visual or structural decision used to resolve it. Reconstructed legacy screens are labelled clearly where a real before screenshot was not available.
From scattered content to one guided story.
The new homepage introduces the promise, explains the three-step service, establishes campus coverage and places proof before the final signup decision.

From generic instructions to branded service explanation.
The original line drawings described the steps, but they felt visually detached from the rest of the brand. The redesigned system turns supply, pickup and delivery into a consistent set of recognizable moments.

From product cards to an estimation tool.
The redesign lets students choose items and quantities, then understand the monthly estimate and four-month period in the same context. Cost becomes an active decision, not a list to decode.

From a directory to a campus-aware route.
The new experience gives school discovery a clear visual hierarchy. Students can scan campuses, recognize their institution and move into a school-specific flow without reading a long undifferentiated list.

A connected 14-page experience.
The work extended beyond one homepage. Company trust, packing guidance, campus discovery and partnership acquisition each received a distinct page purpose while sharing the same typography, components, image treatment and calls to action.

Three systems, shown from decision to delivery.
The project went beyond a visual refresh. The work clarified how students estimate storage, discover their school and reach local information, while giving the internal team a repeatable Webflow content structure.
From storage items to a usable monthly estimate.
Instead of asking students to decode a generic rate card, the experience turns familiar belongings into quantities, totals and a term choice. Each stage answers the next practical question.
- Choose a categoryMove between general storage, furniture and other item groups.
- Select itemsAdd familiar objects and adjust quantities without leaving the page.
- Review the estimateSee monthly and four-month totals update in the same context.
- Choose a termConnect the estimate to the student’s actual storage period.

The price became a guided decision.
- Replaced an abstract pricing message with item-based estimation.
- Kept quantities and the running total in the same visual field.
- Separated monthly cost from the full storage-period estimate.
- Added supporting answers where price uncertainty appears.
From a national directory to a school-specific route.
A national service still needs to feel local. The directory helps students recognize their institution quickly, while the school route demonstrates how shared service information can resolve into campus context.
- Search the directoryBrowse the school grid in a consistent card system.
- Recognize the campusUse the university name, identity and mascot as fast visual cues.
- Enter a local routeMove from nationwide coverage into school-specific information.
- Manage the recordStore repeatable school content in a dedicated CMS collection.

One searchable network
A shared campus index communicates coverage without turning the page into a long text list.
One recognizable record
School image, name and title are bound to the same repeatable card structure.
One local destination
The route model creates space for campus-specific messaging, access details and next actions.
A content model the team can actually maintain.
The interface is backed by reusable collections. This is the operational layer that lets new schools, people and supporting content enter the same design system without rebuilding layouts.

Clarity for students. Control for the team.
The final system gives students a direct route from school discovery to service understanding, price estimation and signup. Behind the interface, shared components and CMS collections support continued campus growth without fragmenting the brand.
